Favourite Dog Toys.

Hi and welcome to the Doggy Bloggy.

Very recently I was gazing upon the ruins of my dogs favourite toy wondering if I could replace it. It's called the 'Outward Hound Kyjen Plush Puppies Tail Teaser.' (A bit of a mouthful, I know).

More than a ball or throw toy this particular one was special. I originally bought it for Mia, my jug (jack russel, pug cross), who, up until that point, had destroyed every toy we had brought home within minutes.

Here's a video of an expensive 'tough' dinosaur toy we bought for christmas from a well-known brand that gave Mia less than a minute of fun before it was gutted.

We don't buy that brand name anymore.

The toy I do want to replace lasted for over two years. We found this amazing, and the truth is it's fun for me to use it too. Watching Mia race around trying to catch it is a joy and it may have lasted a lot longer but then we adopted Chewie and she loved it too.

It was harder for me to keep the toy out of the mouths of two eager hunters. Alas the toy finally quit when 'someone' chewed through the rope(three times!) and I could no longer patch it up. I'm ordering a new one and I'm looking forwards to their reactions when it arrives.
